Will this ready me for the Master Cleanse?

I'd like to start the cleanse this coming Tuesday is possible. I am 17 years old and a full time student and also have a part time job, I've read and researched and I'm pretty confident that it won't interfere with them, at least not too much...

I've been looking for the book EVRYWHERE and it's taken all over!

I just read it and my idea is that I can go out and get any brand of Grade B maple syrup, and any kind of natural sea salt, lemons, pepper, and any brand of laxative tea and begin my diet Monday night.
Is there anything else I should know before I do?

Also, with the sea salt in the morning..how much time should I allow before the process is complete and I can leave the house?

And will this really take away any desire to smoke? I mean pot. Please don't criticize this, but I really don't want to lose that...
